Build integration and workflow

The GH6 uses the Micro Four Thirds lens mount, so existing MFT glass fits directly without adapters. Internal Apple ProRes 422 HQ recording at 5.7K 30p and Full HD 300p reduces the need for an external recorder on many shoots. Dual card slots accept CFexpress Type B and UHS-II SD media, letting the included 64GB TOUGH card serve as primary or backup storage. The bundled HDMI cable and BNC time-code cable simplify monitor and multi-camera sync connections.

Sustained recording behaviour

The Venus Engine delivers fast sensor readouts that enable continuous 5.7K 30p ProRes 422 HQ and FHD 300p capture without the crop or time limits found in some hybrids. In-body sensor-shift stabilisation provides up to 13 stops of dynamic range and steady handheld footage during long takes. The 7.2V 2200mAh battery supports extended sessions, while the AC-USB adapter allows USB power delivery for uninterrupted mains operation. The TOUGH SD card’s UHS-II U3 rating sustains the write speeds these bit-rates demand.
