Extended Audio Range

The Owl Pr Expansion Mic connects to the Meeting Owl 3 and extends its audio pick-up range from 18ft to 26ft in the direction of the microphone. This wired accessory uses a micro-HDMI to micro-HDMI cable to capture quieter or more distant voices in larger meeting spaces. It adds 2.5 meters of directional reach to the existing system.

Larger Rooms Needing Wired Reach

Teams meeting in rooms where participants sit beyond the standard 18ft range will benefit from the extended pick-up and the dedicated mute button on the unit. The microphone requires a physical cable connection to the Meeting Owl 3, so it does not suit users who need wireless placement or who are using a different conferencing camera.

Capacity and Headroom

The microphone comfortably handles conversations up to 26ft from the Meeting Owl 3 in the direction it is pointed, giving a total 8ft extension over the base unit. It runs out of effective pick-up beyond that distance and cannot cover omnidirectional audio on its own. The mute button provides local control for participants seated at the far end of the room.
