Smart Plug for Home Automation

This WiFi smart plug lets you control appliances and lighting from a smartphone anywhere there is a network connection. It supports voice commands through Alexa or Google Home and includes scheduling, countdown and timer functions. The device also records real-time electricity statistics to help monitor energy usage. A sharing feature allows the main account to grant access to other family members.

WiFi Control and Power Limits

The plug communicates over standard WiFi without requiring a separate hub or bridge. It accepts an input voltage range of 100 to 240 volts and handles a maximum load of 1200 watts at up to 10 amps continuous current. The relay can be configured to restore its previous state automatically after a power interruption. Operating temperature is rated from minus 10 to 60 degrees Celsius.

Upgrade from Mechanical Timers

This unit replaces basic mechanical timers or non-connected power strips by adding remote access, voice control and energy monitoring in a single module. The jump is worthwhile when you want to automate lamps, fans or small appliances without rewiring and need visibility into their power draw. It is not suited for high-draw equipment such as heaters or large motors that exceed the 10 amp rating.
