All-purpose pipe joint and gasket sealant

Oatey Hercules Grrip 15515 is an all-purpose pipe joint and gasket sealing compound designed for plumbing, heating, piping, air conditioning, refrigeration, automotive and industrial applications. It works on metals such as aluminum, black iron, brass, copper, stainless steel and galvanized steel, as well as on plastics including PVC. The compound sets up quickly and dries to a tough, flexible seal that will not harden, crack, crumble or shrink.

Brush-applied compound with high-pressure resistance

Supplied in a 1/2 pint can with a natural bristle brush for easy application even at temperatures as low as 20 Deg F. The non-petroleum based formula provides leak-proof hydraulic resistance to 12000 psi and withstands gas pressure up to 2600 psi. It contains no lead and remains pliable, allowing joints to be disassembled easily without damage to pipe or equipment. Excess sealant can be removed from skin, clothing or tools with isopropyl alcohol.
