The NVX VAD17001 is a Class D monoblock car amplifier rated at 1700W RMS into 1 ohm, 1350W RMS into 2 ohms and 800W RMS into 4 ohms. Peak power reaches 3400W. It is marine certified with a conformally coated circuit board for installation in boats, powersports vehicles or cars. A variable bass remote provides 0 to +12 dB boost at 45 Hz.

Sustained Output and Protection

The heavy-duty aluminium alloy heat-sink dissipates heat during extended high-power operation, while three-way protection circuitry guards against thermal, short-circuit and overload conditions. Platinum-plated RCA inputs and screw terminals maintain low-resistance connections under continuous current draw. Preamp RCA outputs allow daisy-chaining additional amplifiers without signal degradation over long runs.

Marine Certified Installation Limits

The conformal coating enables mounting in damp or salt-spray environments where standard amplifiers would corrode. Platinum plating on all signal and power terminals resists oxidation that would increase resistance over time. The single-channel topology limits the unit to one subwoofer load; systems requiring stereo amplification or multiple independent zones need separate amplifiers.
