The NShi desktop server chassis integrates a 500 W AC-to-DC unit that accepts 110 V or 240 V mains input and delivers selectable DC outputs at 5 V, 12 V, 24 V or 36 V. It suits system integrators who need a single enclosed supply to run motherboards, drives and peripheral boards from one metal enclosure. The metal and aluminium case meets CCC, RoHS and CE compliance for industrial environments.

Fits a standard desktop footprint

The chassis slides into a desktop server frame and uses its own internal protection circuits — over-voltage, over-current and short-circuit — so the builder does not need external fusing or a separate protection board. Its 0 A to 60 A output range covers low-power control logic and higher-current drive arrays without additional converters. Operating humidity up to 95 % non-condensing allows deployment in humid plant rooms.

Sustained output at up to 40 °C ambient

Continuous operation is rated from 0 °C to 40 °C with the internal protection active, so the unit maintains its rated rails during long compute or storage workloads without thermal derating. Storage tolerance extends to -20 °C and 60 °C for spare units kept in unheated stores. The enclosed metal shell acts as the heatsink, eliminating the need for forced-air ducts in the host chassis.
