Practical Limits of 1700W Heating

The 1700-watt rating draws near the top of a typical North American kitchen circuit, so avoid running other high-draw appliances on the same breaker. Oil capacity is fixed at three litres; larger gatherings will need multiple batches. The 60-minute timer caps continuous operation, and both control knobs must be engaged before heating begins. No oil-level sensor is fitted, so the tank must never be run dry.
