The cable uses a digital 110 ohm twisted pair construction with four conductors of 20 strands at .12 awg bare copper for maximum no loss data transmission. Heavy duty PE insulation maintains signal integrity over the longest cable runs. Double shielding with 100% foil cover and aluminium braided sleeve eliminates RF and EMI interference. It runs out of headroom when runs exceed the DMX specification limit or when connectors are mismatched.
