Nomaco Kflex 3/8" Pipe Insulation

This halogen-free elastomeric tube fits 3/8-inch copper pipe and provides a 3/4-inch wall thickness. The six-foot length covers standard runs in residential and light-commercial plumbing. Closed-cell Buna-N rubber resists moisture ingress and maintains thermal performance over time. Plenum-rated construction meets building-code requirements for air-handling spaces.

Green Unslit Tube for Daily Installation

The unslit design lets installers slide the tube over pipe before final connections, then seal seams with compatible tape or adhesive. Green colour identifies the product quickly in crowded mechanical rooms. Flexible foam bends around elbows and tees without kinking, reducing labour time on retrofit jobs. Operating range from minus 297 to 250 degrees Fahrenheit handles both cryogenic and hot-water lines.

Upgrade from Lower R-Value Wrap

Replaces basic fiberglass wrap or thin foam sleeves where higher thermal resistance is required. The R-5.3 rating cuts heat loss on hot-water loops and prevents condensation on chilled-water lines more effectively than thinner alternatives. Flame spread index of 126 and smoke developed index of 151 satisfy plenum safety standards that unrated products cannot meet.
