Swift FS ND16 Compatibility

The NiSi Swift FS ND16 is a 72mm thread-less neutral density filter built exclusively for the NiSi Swift friction-mount system. It cannot attach directly to any lens and requires either a 72mm Swift Variable ND base or a 72mm Swift Adapter, each sold separately. This filter suits photographers and videographers already invested in the Swift ecosystem who need a fixed 4-stop reduction. It is not for shooters using standard threaded filters or other magnetic quick-change systems.

4-Stop Light Reduction

The filter provides an optical density of 1.2, reducing incoming light by exactly 4 stops to enable slower shutter speeds or wider apertures in bright conditions. This fixed ND16 factor is the single specification that determines whether the filter matches the exposure control you need for motion blur in video or long-exposure photography. If your workflow demands a different stop value or a variable density range, this fixed-strength filter will not cover those scenarios.

Full-spectrum neutrality maintains accurate colour fidelity across visible, infrared and ultraviolet wavelengths, preventing colour casts during extended exposures. The waterproof nano coating repels moisture and resists scratches, allowing droplets to bead and roll off for easy cleaning in outdoor environments.
