The Nikon AF FX NIKKOR 14mm f/2.8D ED is a fixed focal-length ultra-wide prime designed for Nikon DSLR cameras. It delivers a 14 mm perspective with a maximum aperture of f/2.8 and a minimum aperture of f/22. Hybrid aspherical and ED glass elements combine with a Rear Focus system to provide rectilinear rendering that keeps straight lines straight.

Compatibility Check Before Ordering

This lens uses a screw-drive focus system powered by the camera body, so autofocus will only function on Nikon DSLRs that have a built-in focus motor. The built-in CPU and distance signal features require a body that can communicate with D-type lenses. An A-M switch on the barrel allows quick selection between autofocus and manual focus operation.

Thermals Noise and Power Draw

As a passive optical instrument the lens generates no heat and draws no electrical power during normal use. The screw-drive autofocus mechanism produces only the faint mechanical sound of the camera's internal motor engaging. The built-in flower-shaped hood remains fixed and adds no moving parts or noise.
