Copper Reducing Tee for Potable Water

This sweat fitting tee connects three copper tubes of different sizes in a single junction. It is designed for potable water systems where a branch line reduces from a larger main. The wrot copper construction meets standard plumbing requirements for clean water supply. Installers use it when joining 1-1/2, 3/4 and 1-1/4 inch copper tube sizes.

Sweat Joint Performance Under Pressure

Each cup end accepts the matching tube outer diameter for a soldered sweat connection. The joint strength depends on proper cleaning flux and solder technique rather than the fitting itself.
