The NETGEAR ProSafe P0802D provides eight 10/100 Mbps PoE+ ports and two 10/100 Mbps uplink ports in a compact metal enclosure. It delivers up to 30 W per port with a 120 W total power budget, supporting IEEE 802.3af and 802.3at devices. AI smart detection monitors each port and automatically reboots a connected device if the link fails. The fanless design operates from -20 °C to 50 °C and can be desktop or wall mounted.

Installers needing simple PoE expansion

This switch suits installers who want to power up to eight cameras or access points without configuring VLANs, QoS or SNMP. It does not offer managed features such as port mirroring, link aggregation or remote monitoring, so network administrators who require traffic visibility or redundancy should look at a managed alternative. The 10/100 Mbps speed on every port also limits throughput for high-bandwidth uplinks or workstation connections.

Fits a small surveillance or office rack

The unit accepts 100–240 V AC input and ships with a 48–55 V DC 120 W power supply, so no separate injector is required. Its 768 KB buffer and 9216-byte jumbo frame support help absorb burst traffic from multiple cameras. Two uplink ports connect to an NVR, router or another switch, freeing the PoE ports for endpoint devices. The 17 × 9 × 4 cm metal case mounts on a wall or shelf, saving space in cabinets or wiring closets.
