The Netgear Orbi 770 Series is a tri-band WiFi 7 mesh system supplied as a 2-pack with one router and one satellite. It delivers up to 11Gbps combined wireless throughput across 5,500 sq. ft. of coverage. The system targets households that need high-capacity connectivity for streaming, gaming and smart-home devices throughout a large property. It requires an existing modem or gateway for the internet connection.

Sustained Multi-Device Performance

Under continuous load the system uses Multi-Link Operation to combine the shared 5 GHz and 6 GHz backhaul, keeping throughput stable when many clients are active simultaneously. The router runs a quad-core 1.5GHz processor with 4GB flash and 2GB RAM to manage traffic without bottlenecking. Tri-band radios provide 6 GHz 320 MHz channels at 5,760Mbps, 5 GHz 240 MHz channels at 4,320Mbps and 2.4 GHz 40 MHz channels at 688Mbps.

Check Modem Compatibility

Verify that your current modem or gateway can feed the router’s 2.5Gbps Multi-Gig WAN port to avoid limiting the incoming internet speed. The router offers three 2.5Gbps LAN ports while each satellite provides two, so count the wired devices you plan to connect directly. The package includes a 2m Ethernet cable and two power adapters for initial setup.
