Works with 95 percent of 24V systems

Compatibility is the single specification that decides fit. The thermostat supports 95 percent of 24V heating and cooling installations including gas, electric, forced air, heat pump, radiant, oil, hot water, solar and geothermal. It handles up to three heating stages (W1, W2, W3), two cooling stages (Y1, Y2) and heat-pump configurations with auxiliary and emergency heat (O/B). If your system falls outside 24V or uses proprietary wiring, this unit will not connect.
