Mitel M695 28-key expansion module

The Mitel M695 50006874 adds 28 programmable keys to compatible 6900 series IP phones. It attaches to a Mitel 6920, 6930 or 6940 handset to extend line monitoring and Busy Lamp Field visibility. The module is designed for users who manage a high volume of calls or extensions daily. It turns the desk phone into a more capable productivity tool for busy environments.

Passive operation with no extra power

The expansion module draws its power directly from the host IP phone through the dedicated connector. It has no independent power supply, fan or cooling requirement, so it adds no audible noise or thermal load to the desk. Installation simply snaps the unit onto the phone without any separate cabling to a wall outlet. Normal use leaves the phone’s existing power profile unchanged.

Desk footprint and compatibility

The module sits beside the telephone base, increasing the horizontal space needed on the desktop. It requires a Mitel 6920, 6930 or 6940 IP phone to function and cannot operate as a standalone device. Buyers using other phone models or needing more than 28 additional keys will not be served by this accessory. The 2017 introduction date means the accessory aligns with that generation of desk phones.
