The Mind Reader SC0920.5 is a two-tier pull-out shelf unit built for kitchen cabinets with an opening of 15 inches or wider. Each tier slides independently on a full-extension ball-bearing system, letting you reach items at the back without emptying the front. It suits home cooks who want cans, bottles, stand mixers and utensils visible and accessible in deep base cabinets.

Sustained load behaviour

Heavy-gauge wire construction is rated to hold up to 100 pounds per shelf, so fully loaded tiers remain stable when pulled out repeatedly. The ball-bearing slides maintain smooth travel under that weight without binding or sagging over time. Both baskets can be adjusted to one of three height settings, allowing the structure to accommodate tall appliances or stacked jars without shifting the centre of gravity.

Installation and common issues

The package includes two baskets, two U-shape supports, two rear mounting brackets and hardware; four rails screw into the brackets before the baskets drop in. Alignment is simplified by the U-brackets, but installers must verify the cabinet interior depth accommodates the 22-inch shelf depth and that the opening meets the 15-inch minimum. Mis-measured openings or insufficient rear clearance are the typical reasons the unit will not mount flush or slide freely.
