USB-powered stereo soundbar

The MICA M30C is a compact wooden soundbar that draws power from a USB port and connects through a 3.5 mm auxiliary jack. Its dual 5 W drivers deliver stereo output suitable for desktop monitors, laptops, tablets and other small-screen setups. The angled cabinet directs sound toward the listener while the yellow wood-grain finish adds a retro accent. Plug-and-play operation means no driver installation is required.

3.5 mm auxiliary input limits

Audio reaches the speaker only through the wired 3.5 mm connection, so the source device must provide a matching headphone jack or an adapter. The USB port supplies power alone and carries no audio signal. Volume can be adjusted either from the in-line controller or the host device, but there is no Bluetooth, optical or HDMI pathway. Cable length is fixed, restricting placement to the reach of both cords.

Dual 5 W drivers for near-field listening

Two 5 W drivers produce adequate loudness for personal music, video calls and casual gaming at arm's length. The wooden enclosure adds warmth to mid-range frequencies, yet bass extension remains modest due to the small cabinet volume. In larger rooms or at high volumes the system runs out of headroom and distortion rises. Buyers who want room-filling sound or deep sub-bass will need a larger powered speaker system.
