Replacement Safety Sensor Kit

The Meterk 41A5034 kit replaces original safety sensors on garage door openers made by Liftmaster, Chamberlain, Craftsman and Sears after 1997. It restores the automatic reversing function required for safe operation in residential settings. The package includes sending and receiving units with coloured LEDs, wire connectors, wingnuts and mounting bolts. Buyers with MYQ-enabled openers or pre-1997 models cannot use this kit.

Continuous Beam Monitoring

The sensors project an invisible light beam across the door opening up to 10 centimeters wide. When an object breaks the beam during closure, the opener immediately reverses the door to prevent contact. This detection runs constantly while the door moves, not only during brief test cycles, so protection remains active throughout every operation. The amber and green LEDs indicate alignment status at a glance.

Durable Housing and Simple Wiring

High-density material resists vibration and temperature swings common in garage environments. The included brackets mount with standard 1/4-20 round head bolts and wingnuts, allowing adjustment without specialised tools. Seven wire connectors accommodate typical low-voltage opener wiring for a secure, solder-free installation. No original manufacturer branding appears on the components.
