Magnification and aperture impact

The 1.26× factor turns a 24–70 mm f/2.8 zoom into a 30–88 mm f/3.5 and a 70–200 mm f/2.8 into an 88–252 mm f/3.5. A 50 mm f/1.4 prime becomes a 63 mm f/1.8 equivalent. Aperture values always drop by two-thirds of a stop, so f/2 becomes f/2.5 and f/2.8 becomes f/3.5 across every attached lens.

Five elements in three groups include ultra-high-index lanthanum glass and one fused-silica element. This design targets professional-grade f/2.8 zooms and fast primes, preserving sharpness and clarity across the medium-format frame.
