The MA-67 is a condenser microphone with a 34mm gold large-diaphragm capsule designed for singers, musicians and podcasters who want detailed, warm sound. It requires 48V phantom power to operate and uses a unidirectional polar pattern to focus on the source in front of it. The bundle includes a hydro pop filter, metal shock mount, XLR cable and carry pouch so you can start recording immediately.

Metal body and included mount

The microphone housing is solid metal with a resilient grille that resists dents, while the supplied shock mount is also metal to reduce vibrations and handling noise. The pop filter attaches to the mount to tame plosives and breath sounds during close-up vocal work. A 6-foot XLR cable connects the microphone to your audio interface or mixer, and the carry pouch protects the kit when moving between sessions.

Phantom power and single-pattern limits

Because the MA-67 needs 48V phantom power, it will not work with devices that only supply plug-in power or no power at all. The fixed unidirectional pattern cannot be switched to omnidirectional or figure-8, so the microphone is less suited to room ambience capture or multi-person round-table recording. Buyers who need switchable patterns or battery operation should consider a different model.
