This Medeco momentary micro switch lock is built for installations that need electrical switching combined with high-security key control. The 3/4-inch double-D mounting fits standard panels on alarms, ATM enclosures, time-delay safes, encryption gear, heavy equipment controls and electrically accessed doors or gates. A satin chrome 26D finish resists wear in indoor or sheltered outdoor locations.

Upgrade from Basic Cam or Tubular Switches

Replace low-security cam locks or tubular key switches when patented key control and pick resistance become requirements. The UL 437 listed cylinder delivers triple locking action that resists picking and bumping, while the five-pin tumbler supports restricted keyways. The jump is justified when liability or audit standards demand documented key management and physical attack resistance beyond what commodity hardware provides.

Straightforward Panel Mount with Separate Leads

The lock installs in a standard 3/4-inch double-D cutout and ships with one key; wiring leads are not included and two are required per switch. Terminate the leads to the 7-amp resistive contacts rated for 125/250 VAC, then verify momentary action before closing the enclosure. The most common issue is forgetting to order the correct lead kit, which leaves the switch electrically incomplete.
