The MAXTECH LKLE13015-3 is a Grade 2 cylindrical lever lock designed for classroom, office vestibule, passage or storeroom applications. Its non-handed design fits wood or metal doors from 1-3/8" to 1-3/4" thick with a 2-3/4" backset. The lock operates with a 6-pin tumbler cylinder and includes two keys per unit. It is supplied keyed different as standard.
Grade 2 Commercial Durability
The lock meets Grade 2 commercial standards with a corrosion-treated heavy-gauge cold-rolled mechanism case. A separate spring mechanism for each lever prevents arm sag and holds the lever horizontal with 50° lever travel. The solid brass latchbolt features a 1/2" throw and is reversible for right or left-hand doors. The wrought brass or bronze front and strike plates resist wear in high-traffic areas.
Rekeyable SC4 Keyway Mounting
The SC4 keyway cylinder accepts Schlage, Arrow, Marks, AWI, Lori, Falcon, ASSA and most Medeco cylinders for flexible keying systems. An adjustable front accommodates flat or beveled door edges without modification. The angled lever provides 2" clearance from the door surface and returns to meet ADA requirements. A standard ASA strike plate is furnished for straightforward installation.
