Passage Lever Lockset for Hall & Closet Doors

This Grade 2 cylindrical lockset provides a passage function without a cylinder, making it suitable for hallways and closets where locking is not required. The ADA-compliant angled lever design meets barrier-free accessibility standards. It fits standard 161 door preparation with a 2-3/4" backset and 2-1/8" bore, and accommodates wood or metal doors from 1-3/8" to 1-3/4" thick. Installation is straightforward for new construction or retrofit projects.

Durable Mechanism With Separate Spring System

Separate spring mechanisms for the inside and outside levers prevent arm sag and hold the levers in a horizontal position. The latchbolt features a 1/2" throw and is reversible for right-hand or left-hand applications, with an adjustable front for flat or beveled doors. The lock case uses a corrosion-treated heavy gauge cold rolled mechanism, and special reinforced removable studs prevent twisting or turning of the lock rosettes. The product is UL listed for safety compliance.

Bright Brass Finish With ASA Strike Plate

The Bright Brass US3 finish covers wrought brass or bronze components, including a 2-1/4" x 1-1/8" front and a standard 4-1/8" x 1-1/4" ASA strike plate. The lever provides 50° of travel with 2" clearance from the lever to the door surface, returning to within 3/8" of the door face. The non-handed design simplifies stocking and installation. This lockset is not for buyers who require a keyed entry or privacy locking function, or for doors outside the 1-3/8" to 1-3/4" thickness range.
