The pack includes spindle and mounting screws so the hardware can be fitted once the body is in place. Buyers who need a complete lock with the mortise mechanism included cannot use this item alone.

Through-bolted constraint

The plates are drilled for through-bolted mortise sets such as the marks 114 series body or MAXTECH 1033BL series, so the door must be prepped for that mounting pattern. Surface-mounted or differently bored lock bodies will not align with the screw holes supplied. The mortise body itself is sold separately, so the installer must source a matching case before beginning work.
