Safety Lockout Padlock

The Master Lock lockout padlock is built for industrial safety programmes that require physical isolation of energy sources. Its steel body with a laminated coating resists prying, while the blue bumper adds visibility and impact protection. Each padlock is supplied with two keys and uses a keyed-different cylinder so no two locks in a set share the same key code. Maintenance teams and authorised personnel use it to secure lockout hasps, valve handles and breaker toggles during service work.

Steel Body With Extended Shackle

The 40 mm wide steel body and 7 mm diameter shackle fit standard lockout points without needing oversized hasps. A 51 mm extended shackle height clears bulky valve handles and thick cable bundles that a short shackle cannot reach. Horizontal clearance of 5/8 in and vertical clearance of 2 in give enough room for the shackle to pass through offset or recessed attachment points. The non-removable key design prevents the key from being left in the lock after unlocking, reducing the chance of accidental re-energisation.

Pry Resistant Construction

Laminated steel layers and a hardened shackle resist cutting and prying attempts without relying on electronic monitoring. The blue bumper absorbs knocks that could otherwise deform the lock body or damage painted equipment surfaces. No batteries, wiring or software are involved, so the device adds no power draw or heat to the installation. Operation stays mechanical and quiet, making it suitable for noise-sensitive areas where audible alarms are undesirable.
