The Master Lock 1525LH is a mechanical push-button padlock with a front-mounted dial and a silver stainless-steel body. It measures three-quarters of an inch in body height and thickness, with a body width of one and seven-eighths inches. The shackle is steel, nine thirty-seconds of an inch in diameter and two inches in height. A control key override is available using key number V660, though registration is required.

Suited for lockers and cabinets.

This padlock fits school, employee and athletic lockers as well as office cabinets and storage lockers where a combination entry with optional key override is preferred. Buyers who want a purely keyless design without any key-override capability should look at something else. It is also not intended for applications that demand a different shackle diameter or a rear-dial layout.

Combination access with key override headroom

The single-dial combination mechanism handles daily access for multiple users without distributing physical keys, while the registered key override (number V660) provides administrative entry when combinations are lost or changed. It runs out of headroom where a non-registered master key system is required or where a smaller shackle diameter is specified by the mounting hardware.
