The Markal 97054 lays down an invisible paint line that appears only under ultraviolet light. Its bullet tip feeds liquid paint through capillary action onto ceramic, glass, metal or plastic surfaces. The marks dry in 30 sec and remain legible from -50 Degrees F up to 150 Degrees F, making the marker suited to production, inspection and quality-control workflows.

Temperature and surface constraints

The formulation is rated for continuous exposure up to 150 Degrees F and will still apply at -50 Degrees F, so it suits environments that cycle between extreme cold and moderate heat. Capillary actuation requires a clean, non-porous substrate; heavily oiled or rough-textured parts may reject the paint or slow the 30 sec dry time. No MIL-STD-2041D or GE nuclear compliance is claimed, so regulated aerospace programmes must verify acceptability independently.
