240W PD 3.1 with E-Marker chip decides charging

The cable handles up to 50V at 5A when paired with a compatible PD 3.1 adapter, enabling the full 240W rating. The integrated E-Marker negotiates power safely and falls back to PD 3.0, PD 2.0, QC 3.0, QC 2.0 and adaptive fast charging at lower wattages such as 100W, 96W, 87W, 61W, 60W, 30W, 18W or 15W. If your charger or device only supports lower PD versions, the cable will still work but at the lower negotiated rate.

4K@60Hz video output and broad device support

When both the host and display support USB-C or Thunderbolt video alt mode, the cable drives a 4K@60Hz signal for monitors or portable screens. Compatibility spans MacBook Pro models from 2016 to 2023 including M2 and M3 chips, MacBook Air from 2017 to 2023, iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max, Galaxy S series from S8 to S23, Z Fold 3 to 5, Z Flip 3 to 5 and Tab S6 to S9. Devices without USB-C video output cannot use the display feature.
