Compact five-port desktop switch

The MANHATTAN 560672 is an unmanaged Fast Ethernet switch with five RJ45 ports that operate at 10 or 100 Mbps. It is intended for home users or small offices that need to add wired connections for computers, printers or other Ethernet devices without any configuration. The fanless chassis runs silently on a desktop or in a tight cabinet. Auto MDI/MDX on every port removes the need for crossover cables.

Plug-and-play integration with power-saving

The switch connects to a standard mains outlet through the supplied 5 V 0.6 A external adapter and requires no software setup. Each port automatically negotiates duplex mode up to 200 Mbps and enters a low-power state when a link is inactive, reducing overall consumption. Store-and-forward architecture checks each frame before forwarding it, and the fanless design keeps acoustic noise at zero. The compact 97 x 45 x 23 mm footprint fits easily behind equipment or on a shelf.

Five Fast Ethernet links with basic headroom

The unit provides five 10/100 Mbps ports, supporting any mix of 10Base-T and 100Base-TX devices over Cat3 to Cat5 cabling. Filter and forward rates reach 14,880 pps at 10 Mbps and scale accordingly at 100 Mbps, which is adequate for typical file sharing, printing and internet access. It does not offer Gigabit speeds, managed features such as VLAN or QoS, or Power over Ethernet, so networks that require higher throughput or traffic control will need a different class of switch.
