A 1/4-20 adapter is included for flashes like the AD200 or for attaching action cameras. Builders who only use lightweight speedlights may not need the extra holding power.

Limited to Cold Shoe Footprints and 1/4-20 Threads

The mount accepts any device with a standard cold shoe foot or a 1/4-20 threaded socket. It cannot secure equipment that uses proprietary mounting rails or larger stud sizes. The locking mechanism depends on the shoe's width, so non-standard foot profiles may not engage fully. Users needing 3/8 inch or baby pin connections must add a separate adapter.
