The LUOM SDI2HDMI is a compact video capturing device that converts SD, HD and 3G-SDI signals to HDMI. It is designed for camera operators, live-streaming setups and broadcast monitoring where a BNC source must feed an HDMI display or recorder.
Auto detection of SDI standards up to 3G
The unit accepts SDI data rates of 270 Mb/s, 1.485 Gbps and 2.97 Gbps with input resolutions from 480i and 567i through 720p at 50 or 60 Hz to 1080i and 1080p at 24, 25, 30, 50 and 60 Hz. It outputs HDMI at matching frame rates up to 1080p60 and preserves 8 channels of 48 kHz digital audio.
USB-powered loop-through for monitoring chains
Power comes from a USB DC 5 V connection so no separate mains adapter is required. One BNC input feeds both an HDMI output and a reclocked SDI loop output, letting the signal continue to a second SDI device while simultaneously driving a monitor, projector or capture card. It does not convert HDMI back to SDI.
