Dual SDI Output Converter

The LUOM HDMI2SDI converts a single HDMI source into two simultaneous SDI feeds for broadcast monitors or long cable runs. It accepts HDMI Type A input up to 1080p at 24, 25, 30, 50 or 60 Hz and outputs matching 3G-SDI, HD-SDI or SD-SDI signals without driver installation on Windows, macOS, Linux or Android.

Sustained Signal Integrity

The metal enclosure dissipates heat passively so bit rates of 2.970 Gbit/s for 3G-SDI and 1.485 Gbit/s for HD-SDI remain stable during continuous operation. Automatic format detection locks to the incoming resolution and maintains SMPTE 424M or 292M compliance over cables up to 100 metres for 3G-SDI, 200 metres for HD-SDI or 300 metres for SD-SDI.

One-Way Conversion Only

This unit does not convert SDI back to HDMI, so it cannot be used where a return path or bi-directional link is required. Chaining multiple converters of the same type is also discouraged because it can introduce timing errors.
