The LUOM E-yield T06 is a 4-port USB 3.0 KVM switch that lets two computers share up to four USB peripherals with a single button press. It targets home users and small offices wanting to share a printer, scanner, keyboard, mouse or flash drives without unplugging cables or configuring network sharing software. The switch works with Windows 10 through XP, Mac OS X, Linux and Chrome OS and requires no driver installation on supported systems.

USB 3.0 bandwidth and video resolution limits

The switch uses a 150 MHz bandwidth channel and supports video resolutions up to 1920 x 1080 for VGA, SVGA and Multi-Sync monitors. USB 3.0 peripheral sharing is limited to the two connected hosts; the four downstream ports cannot be accessed by additional computers. An optional 5 V micro-USB power input is available for high-draw devices such as external hard drives or SSDs, but any adapter with a higher voltage output must not be used.

Plug-and-play setup with manual switching

Installation is driver-free on compatible operating systems: connect the two included USB 3.0 cables to the host PCs, attach peripherals to the four downstream ports, and press the front button to toggle between computers. LED indicators show the active host. Common issues arise if a non-standard power adapter is connected, which can cause instability, or if the optional power port is left unpowered while driving multiple high-current devices such as hard drives.
