The LUOM E-yield T05 lets two computers share four USB 2.0 peripherals with a single button press. It suits home offices or small workspaces where a printer, scanner, keyboard, mouse or flash drive must move between a Windows, Mac, Linux or Chrome OS machine without driver installation. The switch draws operating power from the connected hosts and includes a micro-USB port for an optional 5 V adapter when higher-demand devices such as portable hard drives are attached.

Sustained load behaviour

During continuous use the switch maintains a stable USB 2.0 connection across all four ports while the manual button toggles the active host. An autoscan mode cycles between the two computers every three seconds if preferred. The 150 MHz bandwidth supports video resolutions up to 1920 x 1080 through the VGA, SVGA or multi-sync monitor outputs. Operating temperature ranges from 0 °C to 50 °C with humidity tolerance up to 90 % non-condensing, so performance stays consistent in typical office environments.

Installation notes

Setup is plug-and-play: connect the two host cables and up to four peripherals, then press the front button to select the active computer. LEDs show which host is currently linked. The only common issue is under-powering bus-powered drives; the supplier notes that a standard 5 V adapter (not included) must be used for such devices, and any charger with higher voltage output is not allowed and may affect product performance. No software or drivers are required for the listed operating systems.
