XT30-to-XT30 power adapter for field use

This compact adapter joins an XT30 male plug to an XT30 female socket so a soldering iron can draw power directly from a flight battery. It targets FPV pilots, drone builders and RC hobbyists who need a quick power link at the flying field. The moulded housing keeps the connection secure during vibration and rapid manoeuvres. No tools are required to make or break the link.

Direct battery power for soldering and accessories

The adapter eliminates the need for a separate bench supply when repairing or modifying models on site. Plug the male end into the battery’s XT30 output and connect a compatible soldering iron or other 30 A-rated device to the female end. It also serves FPV video transmitters, solar charge leads and general RC toys that share the same connector. Polarity follows the standard XT30 layout so no rewiring is needed.

Rated for 30 A continuous loads

The XT30 interface handles up to 30 A, giving enough headroom for most portable soldering irons and high-draw FPV gear. Voltage drop stays low on short leads, so the iron reaches temperature quickly. The adapter is not suited for sustained loads above the connector rating or for batteries with different connector types. Users needing higher current or alternative plugs must use a different adapter.
