This LORDWORLD adapter connects up to two PCIe NVMe SSDs to a host through dual SFF-8611 or SFF-8612 Oculink ports. It accepts M-key drives in 2230, 2242, 2260 and 2280 lengths. A SATA power connection is required for operation. The card does not support SAS, SATA or Slimline SAS devices.

Each Oculink 4x link carries a PCIe 4.0 or 5.0 x4 signal between the host and an NVMe SSD. Bandwidth is therefore limited to the capabilities of that single x4 lane. The adapter cannot aggregate the two ports into a wider link, nor can it translate NVMe to SAS or SATA protocols. Cable length and signal integrity follow the Oculink specification.
