10.1" Network Touch Controller

The Logitech TAP IP is a 10.1-inch touchscreen controller designed for network-connected video conferencing rooms. It runs on Power over Ethernet for a single-cable installation and includes a 100 mm VESA mount for flexible placement on a table or wall. The IPS panel delivers 1280 x 800 resolution at 400 nits brightness with a 1000:1 contrast ratio. A 10-point capacitive touch surface and an oleophobic coating keep the display responsive and clean during frequent use.

Replaces Standalone Room PC

This device removes the need for a dedicated in-room computer by connecting directly to the meeting service over the local network. The jump is worth it when IT teams want to reduce hardware count, simplify cable runs and centralise device management through a single PoE connection. Integrated sensors such as a PIR motion detector, accelerometer and ambient light sensor automate wake-up and brightness without extra peripherals. Internal cable retention and strain relief keep the installation tidy over time.

The fanless design runs silently throughout back-to-back meetings without thermal throttling or dust intake. PoE power delivery eliminates external adapters that can fail or add heat in enclosed mounts. The fixed 14-degree viewing angle and 85-degree off-axis visibility maintain consistent readability for participants seated around the table. The graphite finish and oleophobic coating resist smudges and fingerprints during continuous daily handling.
