Lizard Skins DSP Ultra Solid Bat Grip Tape is a 1.8 mm thick wrap designed for baseball and softball players who want a secure hold in every weather condition. The Durasoft Polymer backing creates a slip-resistant surface that stays tacky through rain, heat or cold. Pre-cut ends and a full adhesive back make installation quick on wood, aluminum or composite bats. Each roll measures 39 inches and includes a finish strip for a clean edge.

Sustained comfort and vibration control

The textured pattern absorbs vibration on repeated contact so hands stay relaxed through long at-bats and extended practice sessions. Because the material does not harden or lose tack when wet, grip pressure remains consistent from the first swing to the last. Players can maintain a loose, controlled swing without tightening their hands to compensate for slippage. The ultra-lightweight construction adds no noticeable mass to the barrel.

Limits of the standard grip tape interface

A single 39-inch roll covers one bat handle and cannot be reused once removed. The 1.8 mm thickness is fixed, so players who prefer a thicker or thinner feel must choose a different model.
