The Lexmark 50G0802 is a new 550-sheet paper tray designed to expand the input capacity of compatible Lexmark printers. It supports a wide range of media sizes including A4, Letter, Legal and various executive formats. The tray handles paper weights from 16 to 47 lb (60 to 176 gsm) along with transparencies, card stock and labels. Envelope sizes 7¾, 9, 10, B5, C5 and DL are also supported.

The unit comfortably holds a full 550-sheet ream of standard paper, reducing refill frequency for typical workloads. It runs out when a single print job exceeds that capacity or when the printer configuration demands more than four trays total. The optional caster base becomes necessary when stacking the spacer or multiple trays (1 to 4) to maintain stability. Sensors alert the printer for paper size, presence, low and empty states.
