The LensCoat LensSack is an unfilled bean bag camera support wrapped in Realtree Max4 camouflage. It gives wildlife and landscape photographers a stable platform for long lenses on the ground, fences, car windows or safari vehicles. The full-length non-slip bottom and gusseted edges keep gear secure on slick or uneven surfaces. Water-resistant Cordura construction protects equipment during outdoor sessions.

When to use it instead

It replaces a tripod or monopod when weight, bulk or setup speed are the limiting factors. The jump is worth it for shooters who move frequently between hides, vehicles or low-angle positions and need instant, adaptable support without leg adjustments. It is not for studio work requiring precise height control, panoramic rotation or hands-free operation at eye level.

Capacity and headroom

The sack arrives empty so you choose the fill — beans, rice or sand — to match the weight of your lens and the firmness you prefer. A high-quality YKK locking zipper seals the fill and prevents leaks. It comfortably handles heavy telephoto combinations and conforms to irregular surfaces, but it runs out of height for eye-level compositions and cannot level a horizon on steep slopes.
