Legend Valve 311-232 Brass Nipple

The Legend Valve 311-232 is a 4" x 8" no lead red brass nipple designed for plumbing installations. It serves installers and maintenance teams who need a compliant fitting for potable water systems. The fitting meets no lead requirements for safer drinking water connections.

Compatibility Check

Verify that the existing piping uses matching 4 inch nominal sizing and compatible thread standards before ordering. Confirm the system pressure and temperature ratings suit red brass material properties. Ensure the no lead specification aligns with local code requirements for the intended application.

Build Integration

The nipple connects two female threaded components in a straight run, requiring appropriate thread sealant or tape for a watertight joint. It frees up the need for separate couplings when joining pipes of the same diameter. The red brass construction resists dezincification in aggressive water conditions.
