3/8″ push adaptor for thermostatic mixing valves

This Legend Valve 115-342NLPF adaptor connects 3/8″ tubing to a thermostatic mixing valve using a push-to-connect design without an integrated check valve. It suits installers fitting or servicing bathware temperature-control assemblies in residential or light-commercial plumbing. The transparent body allows visual confirmation of flow and seating. It is not for systems that require a built-in backflow preventer at this connection point.

Push-to-connect limits on 3/8″ tubing

The push fitting accepts 3/8″ pipe or tube and relies on correct insertion depth and tube condition for a watertight seal. It cannot compensate for undersized, ovalised or damaged tubing, and it provides no check-valve function to stop reverse flow. The connection is rated for the pressure and temperature limits of the host thermostatic mixing valve, not as an independent pressure boundary. Installers must verify that the mating valve and system design meet all applicable code requirements.

Transparent polymer body

The clear polymer construction resists corrosion and lets the user see debris or air bubbles during commissioning. No check valve is present, so the fitting adds minimal flow restriction but offers no backflow protection. The product carries a California Proposition 65 warning for chemicals known to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm, which applies to the material formulation used in manufacture.
