This two-pack supplies two CF360X high-yield black toner cartridges built by LD Products as replacements for the HP 508X. They are designed for HP Color LaserJet and LaserJet Enterprise printers including the M533X, M552dn, M553dn, M553n, M577c, M577dn, M577f and M577z models, plus the Managed M553xm. Each cartridge delivers an average yield of 12,500 pages at five percent coverage under ISO IEC 24711. The units are new, not remanufactured, and intended for printers purchased in the United States and Canada.

When to Switch from Standard-Yield Cartridges

Standard-yield cartridges such as the HP 508A CF360A typically provide far fewer pages, so the CF360X high-yield version is worth it when monthly print volumes are high enough to consume a standard cartridge in weeks rather than months. Offices that regularly run large monochrome jobs, reports or forms will see fewer interruptions and lower cost per page. Buyers who only print occasional pages or colour-heavy documents will not recoup the extra toner capacity and should consider the standard-yield alternative instead.

Simple Drop-In Installation

Each cartridge is a direct drop-in replacement; remove the old unit, shake the new cartridge gently side-to-side to distribute toner, pull the sealing tape straight out, and insert until it clicks. The most common issues are forgetting to remove the sealing tape completely, which causes blank or streaked pages, and installing the cartridge in a printer outside the supported United States and Canada region, which prevents recognition. Store unused cartridges in a cool, dry place and use within three years of purchase for best results.
