The Lathem 400EKIT bundles a top-feed electronic time clock with 200 cards, two 10-pocket racks, two ribbons and two key sets so a small business can start tracking attendance immediately. It prints the month, date, day of the week and time on every punch and supports weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly and monthly pay periods. SmartClock technology keeps settings during power loss and adjusts automatically for Daylight Saving Time and Leap Years.

Simple top-feed operation

Auto top-feed alignment and print activation let an employee punch with one hand, reducing jams and training time. The only common issue is forgetting to load a fresh ribbon or card pack, which stops printing until replaced. Both ribbons and cards are included in the kit, so the first changeover is covered.

Check power and wall space

Verify that a standard mains outlet is available at the mounting location, because the unit requires continuous power for the perpetual calendar. Ensure the wall can hold the clock and that the two 10-pocket racks have room beside it for card storage. No network connection or software installation is needed.
