The LamTrancail headset turns a compatible smartphone into a virtual-reality viewer for users aged eight and above. It fits iPhone and Android handsets measuring up to 6.3 by 3.3 inches, covering many models from the iPhone 6 through 16 Pro and Samsung Galaxy S8 through S20 series. A Bluetooth controller is included for basic interaction. Phones longer than 6.3 inches such as recent Pro Max, Plus or Galaxy S21 to S25 models will not fit.

Fit, sensors and comfort

The unit holds the phone in a front cradle and uses the handset's own accelerometer, gyroscope and magnetometer for head tracking. Adjustable pupil-distance and object-distance lenses let each wearer sharpen the image, while the head strap adapts to different head sizes. The frame accommodates prescription glasses so spectacle wearers do not need to remove them. No external power or cables are required beyond the phone itself.

What the bundle adds

The Bluetooth controller provides a simple input method for navigating menus or playing compatible titles without touching the screen. Adjustable optics mean the same headset can be shared between family members with different vision needs. Because the device relies entirely on the phone's processor and display, it does not support standalone VR platforms, game consoles such as Switch, or tablets like iPad.
