EMT Strut Clamp for Half-Inch Conduit

This electro-galvanised steel clamp secures half-inch EMT conduit to strut channel in commercial and industrial electrical installations. It provides a rigid mounting point that resists vibration and keeps raceways aligned during and after cable pulling. The component is supplied new and ready for immediate use on site.

Corrosion Resistance and Thermal Behaviour

The electro-galvanised coating protects the steel from surface oxidation in damp or humid indoor environments without adding measurable thermal resistance. Under normal load the clamp remains mechanically passive, generating no heat and no audible noise during conduit expansion or building vibration. California Proposition 65 notices advise that the product contains chemicals known to the state to cause cancer and reproductive harm.

Replaces Loose Straps and Non-Listed Hardware

The clamp replaces improvised pipe straps, unlisted brackets or field-fabricated supports that fail inspection for grounding continuity or mechanical security. The upgrade is worth it when the project requires a UL-listed, strut-compatible fitting that maintains conduit alignment and bonding path without additional hardware. It is not suited for rigid or IMC conduit sizes, nor for installations that demand stainless-steel or hot-dip galvanised finishes.
