The KZ ZS12 Pro 2 combines five balanced-armature drivers and one 10 mm dynamic driver per earpiece for a total of twelve transducers. A built-in electronic crossover board manages frequency division between the driver types. The USB-C connector carries a digital signal, so the cable includes its own DAC and amplifier.
