This Kynup digital caliper measures external, internal, depth and step dimensions up to 150 mm with a resolution of 0.01 mm and an accuracy of ±0.02 mm. It is built from stainless steel with an IP54 splash-proof rating for workshop durability. The large LCD readout switches between inch, metric and fraction units at the push of a button. Three lithium batteries are supplied, one already fitted and two as spares.

Installation ease and common issues

The tool arrives ready to use with a battery installed; simply press the on/off button, close the jaws and hit zero to set the reference point. The lockable head holds the sliding jaw firmly once positioned. Because the housing is metal with a painted finish, avoid dropping it onto hard surfaces to prevent chipping or misalignment of the scale.
