A 5/8 inch (16 mm) baby stud on the adapter accepts any accessory with a matching receiver, so the same mount works across a wide range of studio equipment. Studio Rigs Needing Overhead Points

This adapter suits crews who need to hang fixtures from a suspended ceiling without drilling or permanent fixtures. It is not for mounting directly to solid drywall, concrete or exposed beams, and it cannot replace a dedicated ceiling plate or structural hanger.
